Mass Effect 3 is an excellent co-op game, you and 3 friends fight wave after wave of enemies. What did you say, a single player game as well? Turns out that attached to the co-op element of Mass Effect 3 was one of the best action RPG games of this generation. Despite being a great game, the ending did not sit well with everyone, so new DLC, due out June 26th, might just be what they wanted.
Entitled 'The Extended Cut' DLC, this free download will expand on the ending of the game:
The Extended Cut expands on the endings of Mass Effect 3 through additional scenes and epilogue sequences. It provides more of the answers and closure that players have been asking for. It gives a sense of what the future holds as a result of the decisions made throughout the series. And it shows greater detail in the successes or failures based on how players achieved their endings.
The update is available on PC, 360 and PS3 and will take up around 1.9 Gig of space, so better start making some room for it. Not strictly co-op news I know, but if the amount of hate shown over the original ending is anything to go by, this DLC will be welcome news for many . So why not try out the single player campaign in between bouts of co-op action?
