In fact the PC version of the game is the only version to feature any sort of multiplayer, which will be competitive in the form of deathmatch and team deathmatch. The single player game appears to play a bit like Bulletstorm with a focus on quick action and high scores.

Alien Rage is a 2 player online co-op shooter that appears to be part gunplay and, from the looks of the latest trailer, Tower Defense? Earlier gameplay footage showed off a game that crossed Mass Effect 3's co-op mode with Quake. The new story trailer is a little more subtle and hints at tone and a sense of place. As long as I can get my rage on, I don't really mind.

I can't stand aliens with their advanced technology, big eyes and penchant for probing. They send me into an Alien Pique, an Alien Temper, even an Alien Rage. Thankfully, I will be able to sate my green blood lust in the 2 player co-op shooter Alien Rage. The new trailer shows off over 3 minutes of in game footage.

The new IP from City Interactive has undergone a name change from Alien Fear to Alien Rage. Although there is no known reason for the name change, we can only assume that they went down the path of the dark side with fear leading to anger, and then it spiraled out of control.

It's been sometime since we first heard about Alien Fear, the download FPS from developer City Interactive. Apparently the game was being shown off at E3 2012, but the Co-Opticrew failed to find it. Sad too, because the two player co-op game looks really slick. If the graphic quality in these screenshots are any indication of the quality of the overall product, I think we're in for a pretty solid experience.
