Coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the original release date for Assassin's Creed Unity (now launching on November 11 with Assassin's Creed Rogue), The America's Collection includes all the stories focused on live in and around the American Colonies. Both main franchise entries feature a separate co-op mode where you and three friends can track and hunt targets quickly and efficiently, not to mention the multiplayer and single player stories bursting with content.
]]>While there was some speculation that this bundle was only available in Europe, Gamespot's page states that it ships to US. It also makes note that there is only one PS4 bundle per household, so if you have any siblings eyeing that Killzone pack-in, you'd better act quickly. This particular box comes with one PlayStation 4, one Dual Shock 4, and a copy of Assassin's Creed IV.

Similar to that introduced in AC III, the co-op mode allows up to four pirates to team up to meet objectives. Defending chests and synchronized kills are among many other types of goals to be reached. A lengthy video detailing the co-op multiplayer has been released, and is embedded below. Feast your eyes on more than ten minutes of in-game co-op footage. It looks like there's plenty of murder and plunder to be had!
Sonic: Lost World (WiiU, 3DS) - It's not a full on co-op campaign like we're used to, instead you'll get a Mario Galaxy style BYOB co-op experience. This will work across platforms at least, so it's got that going for it. [2 player couch co-op]

As well as a comprehensive story campaign (which may bore you to death is Assassin's Creed 3 is anything to go by) there is an improved online 4 player co-op experience this time around.

Available from the 29th October on consoles; this generation and next, Assassin's Creed 4 will have a 4 player online co-op mode that promise to be great fun.
]]> https://www.co-optimus.com/article/10900/the-illustrated-trailer-assassin-s-creed-4.htmlAC4 is releasing across more consoles than you can indicate with one hand, so it might be tricky to remember which release date is relevant to you. If you're planning on nabbing the game on the current generation of consoles (PS3, WiiU, or Xbox 360), just remember October 29th. PC and next-gen console release dates are a little less straight-forward, though. PC players will be getting the game on November 19th, following the standard Ubisoft procedure of delayed PC versions. The PS4 version drops on November 15th while the Xbox One version launches November 22nd.
Water has always been known as something that is difficult to digitally replicate in games, and Ubisoft isn’t pulling any punches in their next gen engine. Using Beaufort levels and shallow water shaders, the water looks different in color at various depths, and the further you are from land the more potential there is for waves to pick up. Combined together, these two technologies create a very convincing ocean for your pirating adventures.
What on Earth, would he go and do that for? What on Earth, would he go and do that for? What on Earth, would he go and do that for? To get loads of useless extras:
Many of you that picked up and played Assassin's Creed III may be familiar with the "Wolfpack" co-op mode. Essentially you and a group of friends (up to 4 players, total) were tasked with assassinating some high profile targets in an area. The faster and, more importantly, stealthier that you accomplished this, the more time that would be added to the clock that's continuously ticking down, and the further along you would progress in the sequences. It was, in some ways, a fancy "horde" mode. Instead of waves of enemies coming at you, though, you had to approach the enemies without being spotted and off them in some spectacular fashion. It was also quite fun.
