The European PS Blog has the full list of games over on its site. I would try to list them here, but man, it is a pretty exhaustive list. Here are a few of the co-op titles, in addition to the ones given above, that I happened to see:
]]>The latest game update, 1.09, has added the Blood Rock to the list of items available in the Insight Shop, the special messenger shop found in the Hunter's Dream where players may spend Insight for goods. The cost for this rare item is hefty (60 insight), though anyone who is still playing the game at this point likely has quite a few items in their possession to help them acquire more Insight. There's also the possibility of defeating bosses in Chalice Dungeons for more. In addition to that nice little update, the cost of the Bloodstone Chunk (the item needed to upgrade a weapon from level seven through nine) has been reduced to 20 insight.
A free nine gig patch paved the way for the "The Old Hunters" last week, and now you can finally plunge into the Hunter's Nightmare to face the fallen heroes of yore. Check out the trailer.
The weapon was shown off in a recent stream done by Sony via Nico Nico. The footage below was captured by DualShockers. While all the dialogue is in Japanese, you do get to see the bowblade in action against some enemies in a new area that culminates in a battle against that nightmare fuel-ish boss seen in various screens floating about the interwebs. So, if you want to avoid any kind of spoilers with that, I recommend you stop watching at the 4:00 mark.
]]> https://www.co-optimus.com/article/13718/gameplay-footage-from-bloodborne-dlc-shows-new-weapon.htmlCalled "The League," hunters who taken on this oath can assist others in their games and this will somehow align to an online leaderboard. No information on how any of that works, or what potential rewards there may be, but hey, the leader of the League is a guy with a bucket helmet... so there's that. To ensure you're getting the most out of your co-op, more NPCs are being added as well so you can summon them if the human variety of hunters aren't available. These NPCs can be summoned using a new item, The League Cane. These additions will be free for everyone, regardless if you purchase the Old Hunters DLC.
This feeling is exemplified by the first DLC coming out for Bloodborne titled "the Old Hunters." Even the Hunters, the stalwart champions of the tragic world of Yharnam can't quite catch a break. Some are trapped in a terrible nightmare world forever, and its your job to go enter this hellacious space and slap them into submission. It's a thankless job, really, but somebody has to teach them not to go totally insane due to witnessing eldritch horrors.
Patch 1.05 will go live next Monday and here's what it includes:
Update 1.04 for Bloodborne (officially announced in Japan, but patch notes were translated) arriving on June 2 will include some very much desired tweaks that players have been wanting. For instance, the powerful weapon, The Kirkhammer, will be updated to become a much more useful item than ever, consuming less stamina for repeated use. Other weapon buffs include the Rifle Spear getting increased damage, the Logarius' Wheel receiving less stamina per use, and the buffing of almost all arcane items. Insight fountains are also altered to appear only with one point rather than ten.
]]> https://www.co-optimus.com/article/13196/latest-bloodborne-patch-improves-co-op-capabilities.htmlYesterday, Sony Worldwide Studios' own Shuhei Yoshida took to Twitter to comment on an upcoming expansion to Bloodborne, which was short and sweet:
In true From Software fashion, the latest patch (1.03) had a few secrets hidden in it. Aside from messing with the cannon and improving load times, (plus a bunch of other much-needed fixes) summoning ranges appear to have been greatly increased.
]]> https://www.co-optimus.com/article/13146/bloodborne-increases-co-op-pool.htmlFirst of all, the load times have been significantly reduced, with the max being approximately 15 seconds of wait time. Not bad considering the game size. Second, the new PS4 update that installed a Rest Mode feature has changed the way it works for Bloodborne. Rather than picking up right where you left off in game, your game will now start on the title screen when returning to gameplay. One of the main reasons for the change was to take care of certain matchmaking bugs related to the Suspend/Resume features. One other big issue was how some of the bosses would freeze in place. These glitches have been fixed and now should be as gruesome and epic as ever.
