(Provided you forked over the dough for PS . Okay, so it's not entirely free. It's more like "gated community" free.)
]]>Appropriately named "Lightning Strikes Twice," the update added thunder god Broden (Raiden), who shoots lightning from his fingertips and uses his signature flying headbutt move for his special, and the immortal Brolander, a melee focused bro that shoots lightning out of his body. Along with these forces of nature, the update added new Covert-Ops levels where players have one life and one bro to complete a set objective (killing everyone), and new items like alien pheromones that can distract those tenacious xenomorphs.
BROFORCE's four player co-op gives you and your crew the chance to blast through the game's henchman-ridden levels as one of a number of action hero facsimiles, such as The Brominator, Bro Max, or Time Bro. It's... kind of astounding how many ways Free Lives Games has managed to shove the word "bro" into people's names.
In addition to finally escaping from the shackles of being a "pre-launch title", new levels will be added that take the band of bros to the pits of hell to take on Satan directly on his home turf.
Here's the trailer for July's big "Independence Update," showcasing some brand new Bros, and a couple fresh techniques for spreading freedom.
In this update, players will fight to protect the people of Earth against an invading alien force, many which look like they were very much inspired from legendary sci-fi franchises such as Alien and Dune. Many of these aliens can climb up walls, crawl along ceiling, and feed on human characters just like their movie counterparts, so players best be on their toes while running and gunning.
Today, BROFORCE received its free October update, which includes some new missions and characters. To start things off, the new campaign missions are set within Eastern Europe this time around (looks like Russian mountain ranges and Cosmodrome). Two new playable bros are also offered are Bro Max, who is sort of a parody of Mad Max's Max Rockatansky and The Brode, spoofing Kill Bill's The Bride character. Bro Max uses a "Bromerang" to pick off enemies from a distance and retain ammo, while The Brode garnishes a samurai sword with high speed and lots of explosive power.
Welcome to the official Broforce / 'The Expendables 3' crossover. Available on Steam, this downloadable expansion features ten new missions and seven new bros, based off 'The Expendables 3', which hits theaters August 15th.
Watch as we play some co-op with Richard and Evan, talk about their favorite bros, and convince them to develop the game for the PlayStation Vita.
Every time that massively biceped eagle cries, I shed a single tear for Uncle Sam.
Get ready for the Brocalypse.
Those crazy bros down at Free Lives are throwin' down a sick new trailer for BROFORCE, and it's raw enough to make you hijack your dad's '67 Impala and spin brodies in the parking lot. Its got bros. Its got guns. Its got tactical swine.
