Final Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC Dated for PC and PlayStation 3

“Pod” and “Frost” are two completely new multiplayer maps. “Pod” takes place in a failed utopian community located in Taiwan, while “Frost” is located inside a snow-covered European city split in two by a frozen canal. The “Takeoff” map is similar to “Stadium” in the original Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike DLC, and takes place on a remote launch site in the Pacific Ocean. Lastly, “Dig” is a remodeled map stemming off “Courtyard” in Call of Duty: World at War, featuring multiple paths and two major choke points in two Afghan dig sites.

That’s right gamers, today “Apocalypse” releases on the Xbox 360 system (PS3’s DLC release date has yet to be set), but not without additional changes being made a bit beforehand. For the most part, issues with the multiplayer and Zombies components have all been addressed. Furthermore, both versions of the game basically had identical tweaks made, aside from the Zombies map, “Buried”. Not much else to say on the changes, so go ahead and read on below for the full list of notes:

Apocalypse will be the last DLC available for gamers who purchased the Season Pass and will crop up first on 360 on August 27th. To be fair, the Origins Zombie mode does promise to offer something a little different from what has previously been seen in CoDBlops 2:

The next big piece of DLC has hit for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Along with four new multiplayer maps for the game will be a new co-op zombie scenario for four players to team up on. It's called Buried and is set in what looks like a haunted mansion in an abandoned mining town.

The Replacers are Back to Introduce the Vengeance DLC for Black Ops 2

The Replacers are here to inform one and all that the Vengeance DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will hit XBLA on July 2nd. The pack will contain 4 new multiplayer maps, but will also include the new Zombie map, Buried, for co-op fans.

In the business of making more money, Activision is looking to release Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 again. A Game of the Year Edition was spotted on Amazon.ca listings, which has now been pulled. A quick screenshot of the product shows that the GOTY Edition includes the Revolution map pack DLC.

Latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Patch Detailed

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been out for a while now. But that won't stop the team at Treyarch from patching the game up as they see fit. Taking cues from the community, they have been patching Black Ops 2 in order to deliver the best gameplay experience. A title update was released not too long ago that added the "Uprising" fixes for Black Ops 2. A subsequent patch was released to fine tune the additions that was brought with that title update. This time, a number of multiplayer tweaks as well as game balancing issues have been resolved. For a complete look at the patch notes, read below:

CoD: Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC Free-to-Play this Weekend

If you own Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, but have yet to get the first DLC map pack, Revolution, you'll have the opportunity to try it for free this weekend. From 10am PDT on May 24th through 10am PDT May 28th the Revolution DLC will be available to play for free. This DLC adds four maps to the multiplayer as well as one map to the Zombie mode. It also offers a new weapon: the Peacekeeper SMG.

Stop me if you've heard this before: Call of Duty DLC that has been available on the Xbox 360 for a month is now available on PS3 and PC. You have to love those timed exclusives. CoD: Black Ops 2's "Uprising" map pack includes four new multiplayer maps and a new co-operative Zombie map.
