In addition to the (tentative) date being announced, publisher Degica also announced that there would be more DLC for the game coming sometime in the near future. This content would be centered around three classic Sega games this time: Space Harrier, Galaxy Force II, and Fantasy Zone. Similar to the "Taito packs," these add-ons will include three new levels and three new ships. These levels and ships will only be accessible in the CS mode of the game, however.

Sadly, it appears these ships will only be usable within their specific DLC level. The DLC will be made available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and PS Vita versions of the game.
The game will see a bit of a staggered release with the PS4/Vita versions arriving on November 30th and the Steam version hitting the digital shelves a few days later on December 3rd. Potential purchasers should be advised that ONLY the PlayStation 4 and PC versions of the game will support four player couch co-op; the Vita version is single-player only. The PC version will also support dual monitors so you can get the full wide-screen feel.
