Double Dragon Trilogy Finally Hits PC

The trilogy includes Double Dragon, Double Dragon 2: The Revenge, and Double Dragon 3: The Rosetta Stone, all packaged together for easy play. The mobile versions had reworked controls for touch screen punching and kicking, but PC users will have none of that virtual button bologna and can instead customize controls and use both keyboards and controllers. Three modes of difficulty are still present, just to make sure you're as good at the game as you remember. You can even mix and match modern or retro visuals and sounds. 8-bit all the way!

Developer DotEmu previously released Double Dragon Trilogy on Android and iOS devices in 2013, and now it's available on your very own Android powered home console.

Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons somehow sloughed its way onto the XBLA earlier this year, and now it's time to remember what GOOD Double Dragon games are like. As suggested by "trilogy," this title contains the first three Double Dragon games: Double Dragon, Double Dragon 2: The Revenge, and Double Dragon 3: The Rosetta Stone. This port features customizable controls, two player bluetooth co-op (but what about the black sheep of the family, Sonny Lee?!), three different difficulties, in-game achievements, and an option to toggle between a remastered soundtrack and the original games' beeps and boops. Trilogy is available on iTunes and Google Play for $2.99.
