Defenders is a 4 players co-op game that can be played at home, online, or a combination of both. The RPG/Tower Defense hybrid is a little slow to start with, but once you have upgraded your character a few times, it soon becomes addictive.

Dungeon Defenders is now available for Mac users. The tower defense/action RPG title can be purchased at the Mac store for $14.99. You'll be able to choose between different character classes, build up defenses against relentless enemy assaults, and score epic loot. There are a host of other features which you can see here.

There's absolutely oodles of DLC for Tower Defense/RPG hybrid hit, Dungeon Defenders. Happily for us, the generous folks at Trendy Entertainment even make some of it available to us for free! For the next couple of weeks, the Jester Hero DLC will be available for absolutely free on Steam for PC players.This DLC comes complete with the Jester class, "the Fool" costume for the Jester, a GameLand campaign mission, and 4 new weapons.

Recently, Trendy Entertainment has announced its cancellation of Dungeon Defenders for the PlayStation Vita. While we are slightly disappointed by this, Trendy does have other plans already in the works that involve cross-platform gaming.

The third part in the Dungeon Defenders ongoing series, "The Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards," is avaialble on Steam, XBLA, and PSN for $4 or 320 MSP. PAX East is coming, 6-8th April in Boston to be exact. Whilst some of the Co-Optimus crew will be going this year and even showing off their game, others will be forced to endure the snow that has just arrived in Britain. As well as better weather, another perk that visitors to PAX East will get is some free Penny Arcade DLC for the Steam version of Dungeon Defenders, the rest of us will have to pay $1.99 for the privilege.

Dungeon Defenders' next installment of DLC, entitled the Quest for the Lost Shards of Eternia Part II, has been in the works for a little while. While it was originally planned to come out on February for the PC, further testing and tweaking was required and thus bumped back the release slightly.

I don't know about you, but I can't get enough of Dungeon Defenders. Some nights I play a little on PC, then I switch over to my Xbox and play a little more. Then a little turns to a lot, and I end up playing till the wee hours of the morning. Sometimes I black out and wake up several days later wearing nothing but my favorite boxers (the white ones with red hearts). Perhaps I have a problem. Some say the best way to get through an addiction is to just let it run it's course (at least that's what doc says when I've got a cold). That means more Dungeon Defenders! Of course addicts always need support from their peers, so you're invited!
