While the original Dying Light launched in 2015 and already has an upcoming, much-anticipated, piping hot sequel (Dying Light 2), neither of those things have stopped developer Techland from serving up a steady stream of impressive and game-changing DLC over the years and Hellraid looks to be more of the same.
]]>For starters, Harran has become significantly spookier for the next few days, with the forecast calling for constant storms and costumed zombies. Said zombies carry Drunken Pumpkin potions, which are just as likely to grant you absurd powers as they are to completely reverse your control scheme. See it all for yourself in the event trailer, below:

To keep a community interested and thriving for that long when there's always something new/shiny coming out every second is no small feat. To thank their dedicated fans, Techland posted a little "thank you" video on YouTube and announced some exciting things that will be arriving in the days to come, including a new community event ("Undying Love") that will reward players with some new goodies just for participating.
The DLC will be making its way into the game over the course of the next year and it will all be free across PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. In the announcement video, producer Tymon Smektala teased new enemies, more events, more mysteries to discover, and "much more" (I'm guessing he means weapons). It's great to see so much enthusiasm for a co-op game this far past its original release date, and it's also awesome to see the developer continue to support it so.

If you want to get a Rocket League buggy skin for the buggy that's in the new Dying Light: The Following DLC, head over to this Dying Light website and enter the code "LightMyRocket" (without the quotations). You'll get the skin and be able to cruise around the outskirts of Harran letting those zombies know you're a big fan of, what I can only hope, is an actual sport in that universe.

Check out the accolades trailer while you are waiting for news on the upcoming DLC.
Luckily for us, Techland has provided us with a brief trailer showing off a few highlighted locations, which is honestly the least they could do, considering the amount of amateur cartography work they're about to dump on us.
This announcement comes just a couple weeks after the developer added functionality to their tool kit to allow players to create custom co-op and PvP levels. The full list of maps that will be released on the consoles should be revealed sometime soon, but in the meantime, you can check out the archive of the Twitch stream to see what levels were of particular interest to Techland.

Alongside those, the developers will be adding "Bounties", which are available only after you beat the main storyline and come in three forms: Basic, Dailies, and Community Challenges.
