I've seen many launch trailers in my time and the Farming Sim 2013 one if actually pretty useful. A narrator informs you of some of the aspects the game contains, although it could so with a little more dubstep. Farm Sim 2013 has already been out on PC for almost a year, but the console versions do get some added American farm extras.

I would have known this had I read the our Co-Op Review of the PC version, or if I simply remembered the article I wrote about the sim back in October. After watching the trailer I realized I had better do some research on the world's oldest profession. I soon discovered farming is NOT the world's oldest profession, but I continued my research anyway. A few hours later I stumbled upon the Farming Simulator 2013 home page.

You know you want it. Come on, you really do. All those hours spent playing Harvest Moon, wishing it were just the teensiest bit more realistic. And let's be honest, your most impressive Minecraft map is basically an automated wheat-producing machine. Time to drop the act and pick up a real man's farming game: Farming Simulator 2013. And we're only slightly joking when we make that statement.

Are you ready for this? Hell no, you're not! No one is. Today I have three, count'em, three videos showboating the agricultural extravaganza that is Farming Simulator 2013. I know what you're thinking: "But I didn't play Farming Simulator 2012!" Shut your face! It's not that kind of game. The plots of preceding titles are irrelevant to the current game, just like Tetris, Pac-Man, Call of Duty, and the Mass Effect series.

Nothing says good ole fashioned family fun then a farming simulator! Apparently the success of Farmville has bred new life into the genre, which hasn't seen a big hit since 1994's Space Marines vs Martian Ears of Corn or last year's hit game, Farm Machine Championships. Focus Home Interactive is looking to bring the genre away from Facebook and back to the core gamer with Farming Simulator 2013, which will be available on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
