Despite the protagonists' constantly cheery disposition, it feels like things keep getting harder for them.  They just survived an encounter with the Chaos Commanders, and starting May 25th, they'll have to take on yet another group who've managed to grab hold of the Chaos Power - the Knights of the White Lily.  I don't think I'd be able to sustain that level of joy in the face of a seemingly endless obstacles, but hey, I guess doing what you love counts for something.

In "The Survivors," your beloved King has eaten something "a bit strange" and is now straight off his gourd. Princess Lily is kidnapped (for the third time) and the King announces his intention to save the Princess alone. Not exactly consistent behavior.

As a result, they've decided that the game's Story Quests and Infinite Dungeons will grant double experience points for... well, forever.  It's an interesting decision, and possibly the only "infinite" limited-time event, but hey, if it makes the community happy, then who am I to judge?

Up to four players can team up, either online or locally, to hack and slash your way through the joyous dungeons. There will be quests to undertake, bosses to slay, and loot to claim. ToyLogic hasn't given out a lot of information about how the free-to-play model will work out here, but Happy Wars featured packs of items you could buy with their premium currency as a way to shortcut the usual routine of gambling for them using in-game money. Hopefully, the pay aspects will follow a similar model and not be anything too bad.
