Though certain fan favorites like Skull Kid were left out from the DLC character lineup, the final DLC, Boss Pack, includes a character that (I suspect) most Nintendo fans would've expected. In a video that surfaced recently on Youtube, we see footage of players being able to unlock a giant Cucco to run around the battlefield and peck their way to victory! The Cucco, who was once the punching bag of many weapon attacks, now can unleash its full fury in the hands of the player!
]]>The Majora's Mask DLC is the third piece of additional content for the game and will contain new characters from the classic N64 title. As well as Tingle, you will get to play as Young Link and wear several different costumes. The pack also comes with an additional adventure map that up to two local players can prance around in.

Thankfully, the visuals themselves are worth watching:
DLC Pack #2 "Twilight Princess Pack" features some Twilight Princess goodies that are hard to ignore. The first being that a new character, Twili Midna, will be a playable character, much like in DLC Pack #1 "Master Quest Pack" where players could play as Link riding on his trusty steed, Epona. This time around, however, Twili Midna will be the featured character and playable for the first time in the LoZ series!
As many of us already know, the first group of Nintendo Amiibo figures will be releasing this November 21st to coincide with the release of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. These little figurines not only sport an iconic character, but also can hold a ton of information that can be used between different consoles and game titles. This week, we got word through the latest that the Link figure will be supported in Hyrule Warriors, unlocking the "Spinner" weapon.

Who would have ever thought that was possible? But it is, and it features two player local co-op play as you smash through swarms of baddies set in the Zelda universe. We'll have our review this coming Friday. [2 player couch co-op]
]]> https://www.co-optimus.com/article/12322/co-op-release-alert-for-the-week-9-28-2014.htmlAmong the dozen or so characters that players can choose to embody on the battlefield in these future DLC packs, Nintendo confirmed that an additional three characters (shown in the gallery below) will be available for a free download alongside the version 1.3 update going live in Japan on September 30th. However, a North American date has yet to be revealed by Nintendo.
Unfortunately, in terms of co-op, nothing new was revealed about it: up to 2 players may join up locally to play the game together, using the Gamepad screen for one and the TV for the other. As for the rest of the video, they went into more detail about characters and their abilities/items, an newly announced mode called "Adventure Mode", and preorder bonuses.
Hyrule Warriors is looking like a fun hack 'n' slash title that will have a 2 player local co-op mode.
Let's go ahead and take a look at the trailer for Zelda. Sure, she was announced at E3, but video footage of her whoopin' up on baddies has just now been released.
