The idea behind ibb & obb is to grab a friend and scratch your head over a series of gravity and physics puzzles, all while nabbing shiny diamonds and dealing with enemies. The controls are as simple as walking and jumping, but it's the warped environments that make the game so intriguing. Fuzzy gates instantly flip gravity for the player that jumps through, allowing ibb to be facing "up" while obb is mirrored below. Crossing the landscape is an exercise in weaving in and out of these portals to pick up momentum and reach the next highest platform. It's all so elegantly simply, but the puzzles will throw your gray matter for a loop.

The biggest item on the patch list: ibb and obb no longer disappear when passing out of the camera's range. Before the update, jumping too high or falling too low means you simply had to intuit where you would be when you came back into view. This made some of the puzzles extra challenging, as pinpoint accuracy is an enormous boon in the game. With the update, when ibb or obb flies off the screen a small marker shows their position and relative distance. To that we laugh and say HA, because we totally beat that game before that noob-friendly feature was added. We're just hardcore like that, you know.

Released a week prior in North America, ibb and obb suffered a tiny delay for European territories (which, according to Sony, includes Australia). It's out now and all is well in the world, so stop panicking and get the game. Seriously, it's a winner.
