Osiris is the Xbox One sequel to the fantastic Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and whilst it may not quite live up to the first game, the sequel offers more in the form of 4 player online/offline co-op.  There are issues with connecting to a online game if someone drops in or out as the game needs to redesign the stages, but grab a few reliable pals and you have a fun action platformer that has puzzles that may lead to arguments - the best type of co-op.

One of the most interesting things about the puzzles in Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is that they change depending on how many players are in the game. An example from the video shows Lara manipulating a lens to direct a beam of light that destroys a pair of orbs. She's by herself then, but if you bring along some other players, there's a platform that needs to be lowered while someone guides the lens. That sort of dynamic construction should make scaling players a seamless experience.

The biggest change in Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is support for four player co-op instead of Guardian of Light's two. New characters have crawled out of their sarcophagi just for this adventure. Joining Team Archaeology is Carter Bell, who is essentially Lara's competitor in the running around being vaguely concerned with ancient stuff field of study. Lara and Carter each have grappling hooks used to create bridges and pull characters up from ledges. They also have torches, but we're pretty sure you know what those things do.

The core of Temple of Osiris doesn't veer far from Guardian of Light. We've still got swinging over spikes, crumbling platforms that shouldn't be able to float in the first place, grapple gun climbing, brass ball rolling, and plenty of omg-shooting. The video shows off a couple of bosses, including a huge armored beatle and a giant snake that's probably an asp. We're no aspologists, so don't quote us on that last part.
