LEGO Marvel's Avengers is unchanged from its predecessors in that regard, as Warner Bros. Interactive has outlined no less than five extra DLC packs bound for their latest title. Soon enough, you and a buddy can suit up as such classic characters as Poundcakes, Killmonger, Radioactive Man, and even Night Nurse! Let's take a gander, shall we:

Marvel's Avengers continues the trend of solid two player local co-op games in the LEGO series and this outing combines the open world element of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes with story lines taken from six separate Marvel films including both Avengers, Captain America and a single Thor:
Originally release for this year, LEGO Avengers has been pushed back to January 29th, which is no bad thing as we all have Fallout 4 we need to finish first before embarking on another massive world:
Warner Bros didn't specify a reason to push Avengers back till next year, but I could point to LEGO Dimensions, their multi-property powerhouse and Toys To Life entry as being released later this year. Perhaps they didn't want to flood the market with LEGO titles.
Obviously, two of these announced characters are paying homage to the Marvel man himself, Stan Lee. The upcoming game is the first to include characters and storylines from both the Marvel's the Avengers and Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron series.You can check out pictures of these characters in the gallery below.
