For the time being, though, we can only ponder LEGO's next step as we play through the "Escape from Starkiller Base" DLC pack. It features a brand new level, of course, which presumably contains one or more folks "absconding" from some sort of "compound" that can "cause stars to die prematurely".
]]>Similar to the previous releases, the DLC packs will cost you $1.99 each, or you've got them already if you have the Season Pass. Here's a breakdown of all the characters you'll get in each pack:
From LEGO Marvel Super Heroes to LEGO Jurassic World, if it's a LEGO game and it was released anytime during the past three years for the Xbox One (with the exception of Dimensions), it's part of the sale. You can check out Major Nelson's blog post for a more complete list of all the games that are part of this week's sale, but here are the co-op highlights:

Similar to how LEGO Dimensions has split up its various offerings in to "Level," which include a new level and characters to play, and "Character" packs, which only include new characters, the planned content for LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be similarly split. Three level packs (Poe's Quest for Survival, First Order Siege of Takodana, and Escape from Starkiller Base) and four character packs (Prequel Trilogy, Freemaker Adventures, Star Wars: Rebels, and The Clones Wars) are slated for release once the game launches next month. Each of these will retail for $2.99 or you can pick up the Season Pass for just $9.99. The Season Pass will also include a special character pack, The Jedi Order.

Most of the LEGO titles thus far have just gotten voice actors that can do a rough impression of the more well-known versions of the characters, so it's kind of cool to see somebody flexing some kind of development/publishing/licensing muscle to bring these folks in to do some VO work.
Along with the main story adventures upon which you'll get to embark as you play, you'll also get treated to six new adventures that will star Poe Dameron, C-3PO, and other notable characters.
Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens gives players more background on the events after Return of the Jedi, and actually starts the story on Endor. You will of course get to play as your favorites from the film, with characters including Rey, Poe, Kylo Ren, BB-8, and Han Solo. If the game follows its predecessors, there should be a wide assortment of unlockable mini figures to aid you in free play sections. Co-op play will likely be the traditional drop-in drop-out dynamic (or fixed) split screen that TT Games has stuck with for most Lego games.
