Looking back, this move probably seemed inevitable given Nintendo's current indie infatuation and Lovers' potential synergy with the console, but let's just take a moment and celebrate the fact that it's becoming a reality. I'll give you all some time to yourselves.
]]>To put it plainly, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is on the PlayStation Plus lineup for April. It's a four player cooperative space... explorer in which anthropomorphic animals must work together to guide an oddly shaped spaceship through a series of semi-randomly generated missions, all with the intent of bringing love back into the world. It's a whole thing. You can catch a glimpse of it in the video below.

The game now has 4 player local co-op and forces players to work together by splicing together Overcooked with Asteroids. We loved the game so much that we gave it the full 5 out of 5 and that was before they added two additional co-op partners:

While this update isn't currently available for the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 versions, the developer says that it will be coming to those platforms soon.
While lovers everywhere have spent many an eve dolling out hugs on Xbox One and PC, PS4 users can finally experience the sheer and utter bliss of co-op dependency in one of my favorite games of 2015.
Here's the issue, though: that spacecraft has multiple seats, and there's just the two of you. Barring some sort of omnipresence that the trailer left out, that means you and your unfortunate colleague are going to be dashing back and forth between each station as you scramble to protect your ship. Sounds stressful, right? Just wait til you see the trailer.
The developers at Asteroid Base have put together a new trailer for the game to show of all its wonderful two-player co-op, pink Death Star controlling action!
The screenshots show off some of the new planets you can discover on your voyage across the neon colored galaxy with your local co-op partner. You'll discover exotic birdfolk and other strange aliens that you'll want to save - or - "accidently" laser. The choice is your platform around your Death Star like ship controlling guns, defenses, and piloting.
Our indie darling of E3 2013 was by far Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime. We already wrote a detailed preview earlier in the show, but we loved the game so much, we felt we needed to go back and talk to Jamie Tucker and Adam Winkels of developer Asteroid Base.
]]> https://www.co-optimus.com/article/10377/e3-2013-lovers-in-a-dangerous-spacetime-video-interview.htmlIndieCade had a pretty large establishment at this year's E3 2013 with one of the bigger booths in the South Hall. The event is actually held in Culver City later this year, but the folks from IndieCade wanted to showcase some of the more popular and polished submissions to E3 attendees. While digging through the troves of indie games we found a little couch co-op gem called Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime.
