Like Overcooked, Lumberhill consists of numerous single-screen levels that can be tackled solo or with up to 4 players in co-op. Each level presents a number of time-limited goals such as chopping down varying numbers of specific species of trees, herding sheep and rams to the barn, and even collecting pterosaur eggs while avoiding their angry mother. How the team wants to divide tasks is up to them. Scoring well gets you stars, which unlock new levels. Completing the levels' optional objectives will unlock more wacky playable characters.
]]>Like Overcooked, developer All in! Games' Lumberhill consists of single-screen levels that can be tackled solo or with up to 4 players in co-op. Each level presents a number of time-limited goals such as chopping down varying numbers of specific species of trees, moving sheep and rams to the barn, and even collecting pterosaur eggs while avoiding their angry mother. Yes, Lumberhill features both grounded and fanciful locations that make for a silly good time.
Ostensibly, Lumberhill tasks its players with the typical lumberjack duties: chopping down trees and delivering them to a designated dropoff point. (I'm assuming, at least. It's been a while since I've checked in on lumberjack labor laws.) If the announcement trailer is anything to go by, though, things get a bit... wackier than that. At some point in the game, you'll also be putting out fires and nabbing dinosaur eggs, so maybe don't hold tightly to your preconceived notions of lumberjack-ing.
