Free DLC Release Today for Spintires: Mudrunner

The DLC adds two new vehicles (the "heavy duty tractor" known as the D-538 and a lighter tractor, the B-6A) for you to use on any map, but you may want to take them for a spin in the brand new Ridge map. This area is a "coastal map split in half by a mountain ridge." (We have DLC title, people!) Finally, a new gameplay type is added with "Scavenging." Rather than getting your logs from one designated area, they're scattered across the map and you'll have to gather them up in order to complete your delivery.

If you're never heard of the title before and wondering "just what is this thing," it's ok, you're not alone. Without a doubt, the big appeal to Spintires was the mud physics that could trap your vehicle in a mire of Siberian swamp. Sure, you ostensibly had the task of going around picking up lumber and delivering to various places around the map, but that's not why people played it. Spintires: MudRunner is more of the same, but with a few new features, like an open-world/sandbox map, a new Challenge mode, new vehicles, and improved graphics.
