Microsoft have called their latest sale the Xbox 360 Ultimate Games Sale and judging by some of the prices they may be right. There is the usual batch of single player games with money off, but also a few co-op titles.

Portal 2’s co-op mode has a brand new DLC campaign that immerses players in the Portal universe more so than any other time before it. Using the PlayStation Move as the controller, we can now control the portal gun in a whole new way. The PlayStation Blog even stated it to be one of the best games to use the PlayStation Move peripheral to date (seal of approval included).

Consoles might have had the split-screen co-op advantage on Portal 2 that their PC counterparts didn’t for a good while, but those days are now gone. Along with some minor fixes, Valve has recently added the split-screen co-op mode to the PC version of Portal 2, making Steam the undisputed best way to experience the entire game on one platform.

During the interview it was revealed that over 4 million copies of Portal 2 have been sold to date across all platforms. The first Portal 2 downloadable content, ‘Peer Review,’ added a new challenge mode and co-op levels. Valve has just announced a second DLC that doesn’t seem to include new levels, per se. Instead, it will bring a full-on in-game level editor. The thought of cooperatively designing levels with a partner is certainly enticing.
