There's a lot to discover within Remnant, which is one of the main appeals for me, but if, like me, you also don't want to miss out on anything, then the Adventure Mode is made for you (and me). The idea is that you can create a new dynamically generated instance of just one world (Earth, Rhom, or Yaesha, to start), and play through all of that up to, and including, the World Boss without having to start a new campaign. Your existing campaign progress isn't affected by this Adventure, but you do get to keep all the things (including scrap, materials, weapons, gear, mods, traits, and experience) you acquired from that Adventure. This mode can be accessed from the "World Stone" in Ward 13 by going to "World Settings" and then choosing "Adventure Mode."

A quick disclaimer before going any further. Part of the joy of Remnant, much like in Dark Souls, is exploring and discovering things for yourself. If you don't want anything spoiled for you, then I'd avoid the video (for now) and just go experience the game for yourself. Locke, Mike, and myself all highly recommend it, especially in co-op, and if the idea of a "Dark Souls-like" turns you off, don't worry; Remnant is more like a third-person shooter in its minute-to-minute gameplay. As Ryan McCaffrey covers in his preview article, Remnant: From the Ashes is a third-person shooter with RPG and rogue-lite mechanics. There are three different playable classes (Scrapper, Cultist, and Hunter) with different starting "templates," but they are fully customizable beyond that. Choosing what kind of weapons and mods you'll want to use will be part of the fun of the game, with the rest coming from the randomized nature of just about everything else. Levels, missions, enemies, and bosses will all be dynamically every time you play so you're pretty much guaranteed a different experience when you hop in with friends.
