Rising World recently hit Steam's Early Access, and so far the reception has been good. The game follows the usual Minecraft pattern of dropping you in a randomly generated world full of breakable blocks, handing you a few simple tools and turning you loose to see what you can build. The difference here, though, is that the world is a touch more realistic. Not only does it look prettier, but everything you see can be modified, whether in-game for via server-side scripting. No restrictions, just, um, a word that means "freedom" that rhymes with "restrictions".
