The announcement comes alongside a teaser trailer that mentions WayForward's April Fools joke about "Bimmy and Jammy" coming to River City Girls 2 (see below). Everybody knew that was just a joke, but it was clearly intended to set up the eventual announcement of the real Double Dragons becoming playable DLC characters. Notice Marian's change of expressions between the April Fools image and today's announcement picture.
After updating the game, players will be able to create and join 4-player lobbies.
