Perhaps the best thing for co-op players is the first area is completely isolated from the main game world. Once entering a portal you are teleported to a new instanced world to freely explore. The first tall tale really focuses on puzzle solving, almost so much it feels like an old school point and click adventure. You'll follow clues, find objects, and use those things to unlock further progress and secrets. Along the way there are healthy doses of nostalgia and tie-ins with the Disney franchise. It's not just the movies on display, but actually the original ride from Disney Land.
]]>Don’t feel bad if you missed “Back 3 Blood” – Back 4 Blood is actually Warner Bros Interactive and developer Turtle Rock Studios’ spiritual successor to the Left 4 Dead franchise. This horror-themed first-person shooter will feature a 4-player co-op narrative campaign and competitive multiplayer (with human and Ridden teams), much like its spiritual predecessors. Back 4 Blood will launch on day one with Xbox Game Pass on October 12 for Xbox, Windows 10, and Cloud (beta). It will also be coming to PlayStation 4 and 5.

Mostly because you don't have to contend with boarding and/or being boarded. It's straight cannon on cannon action. Except their cannons shoot ghosts.
We've got two recaps for you actually, last week we attempted to take on the 2nd Tall Tale and ended up getting sidetracked a bit while discovering a shipwreck. .
I was immediately impressed with Sea of Thieves after playing the initial "Maiden Voyage." The visual quality combined with the overall style and atmosphere gave me a distinct Disney vibe. Clearly a lot of love had gone into this game and I was immediately hooked as the intro sequence panned back to reveal the title on the open seas.
Now, that last bit may sound odd to anyone that's seen something or played something of this game. I can already hear your cries of "THE GAME HAS SUPPORTED FOUR PLAYER ONLINE CO-OP SINCE LAUNCH, JASON!" Yes, it has. As a counter, though, it also supported an environment where you and your friends could spend a good chunk of game time sailing around gathering loot from various islands, and then have it all taken away by some ne'er-do-wells that were just hanging around the port waiting for someone to show up with a bunch of treasure in their hold. PvP is certainly an element in other games that, otherwise, encourage cooperation (such as the "NEXT" update with No Man's Sky), but a game about pirates with no real clear progression (at launch, at least) certainly seemed to encourage PvP a little more than it did PvE. There have been a number of updates and content additions in the past year, and we've been keeping an eye on it all, but this update in particular is a little more co-op focused than previous ones.
