Siberian Mayhem comes from developers Timelock Studio and original series creator Croteam. Timelock Studio, probably named after the Time-Lock machine from Serious Sam 3, is a Russian modding team that formed in 2021. As such, this standalone expansion started its life as a mod. Croteam took notice and helped the mod evolve into a full release.
