]]>The game and its four player online co-op has been out for a while on PC, but as we all know, the journey of porting a game is a long and treacherous one. Soon enough, you and three friends can engage in a little open world/loot shooter/hack-and-slash action together on the console of your choice.
In SW2, players will be able to get their hands on two PAYDAY 2 weapons: the AMCAR rifle and the money bundle (yes, really). They'll also be able to grab a Dallas mask for co-op play. In PAYDAY 2, players can now wield Lo Wang's Kazaguruma. Four SW2-themed masks are also available to wear on your many heists.
The Polish development team has continued working on the title even after its release and have some free content lined up. The first of these will be adding the infamous katana from the first game, the Nobitsura Kage, to the world. Future content updates will include new missions, weapons, and items, as well as a new "ultra-hard challenge mode."
If you download, install, and log into the 3.0 version of the GeForce Experience, you'll automatically be eligible to win a code for Shadow Warrior 2. Folks who have already done this prior to today can also win a code as the only requirement appears to be that you log into the system. They have $50,000 worth of codes to hand out, so that's roughly 1,250 lucky users that will get the game for free. It's definitely a bit of bribery on their part to encourage PC gamers to sign up for their new service, but hey, free game?

]]> https://www.co-optimus.com/article/14534/stan-bush-lends-his-talents-to-shadow-warrior-2-soundtrack.htmlSet five years after the events of the previous game, Shadow Warrior 2 sees protagonist Lo Wang facing off against the very demonic forces that he helped to unleash. The title has gone a little more open world this go around, and it will also allow up to four players to team up online to complete the story campaign and side missions. Each player will be able to collect their own loot and customize their ninja to fit their own particular playstyle. The PC release date trailer shows off a little of this co-op demon killing in slow-motion action.
I’ve never played a Shadow Warrior game, so when I went to my appointment, I was going in fairly blind. As chance would have it, there was a short wait for the press terminal. This meant I could catch myself up on a lot of the story background with writer Scott Anderson. Scott’s job was to update the humor in the franchise - a balance of staying true to the feeling of the IP while making it feel like a modern-day game. The final result? Lo Wang is still the brash, over-the-top persona that Shadow Warrior fans expect, but with a new character that accompanies Lo Wang to balance him out. The events of the game have resulted in Lo Wang’s soul being fused together with another character (I believe her name is Kameko). She is none too impressed with Lo Wang’s attitude and neither of them are happy about their shared situation. She provides snarky comments and retorts to Lo Wang that only he can hear.
Take a look at the trailer. I think you'll see what I mean.
