Splinter Cell Blacklist Homeland DLC Drops from the Ceiling

Blacklist is a highly polished game that was great fun to play and had some cleverly integrated co-op missions. We gave the game 4 out of 5 and more co-op missions are a bonus. The Homeland DLC has two such co-op adventures; Billionaire’s Yacht has you and Isaac silently slipping onto a boat late at night, whilst The Dead Coast tasks you with wiping out a terrorist cell.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist Launches (very very quietly)

Blacklist is dropping from the ceiling onto 360, PS3, PC and Wii U and will have a 2 player online and offline (not Wii U) co-op mode. The co-op mode in Splinter Cell Conviction was great fun so Co-Optimus will expect a lot from Blacklist. The new launch trailer concentrates more on the campaign story, but does give you an indication to the tone that will permeate all aspects of the game.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist's 'Threat' Trailer Lays On the Suspense

The new “Threat” trailer reveals Sam’s plan to take the fight to a new terroristic enemy known only as the “Engineers”. Little is known about them, but they are set to unleash something called the “Black List” on the world. Rather than allow the allied nations to be cautious with the dangers ahead of them, Sam believes that his team, Fourth Echelon, shouldn't “waste time playing defense”, which is shown later on as they stealthily infiltrate and dispatch their enemies with skill and brutality. When it’s really only a handful of people working together to stop an unknown threat, how much time do they really have to thwart it?

No Offline Co-op for Splinter Cell Blacklist on Wii U
