The Rival Pro Controller is a customizable DualSense 5. Gamers can select from a number of pre-built controllers (all with custom artwork) or even customize their own, selecting individual colors and features. Remappable buttons are found on the back of the controller.

RWBY: Arrowfell Won't Be Co-op After All

It's certainly a downer to see a game shift from being planned as a cooperative experience to a solo one. The same thing recently happened with DeathRun TV, a Roguelike twin-stick shooter from Merge Games. In DeathRun TV's case, however, the game just launched without promised co-op features, nary a warning given in advance. WayForward has been good enough to give a heads up about RWBY: Arrowfell shifting to a single-player game ahead of its launch. It should still be a cool game for fans of the show, just not a multiplayer one.

DeathRun TV Arrives on Switch and PC - Without Co-op

The premise of DeathRun TV is simple. Play as a contestant in a deadly game show, causing as much mayhem as possible in front of a live studio audience. Contestants' primary goal is to receive as many likes as possible. The more popular they get, the more powerful they become. Specifically, fame can be spent on the player's choice of mutations, boosting movement speed, fame gain, and more. If you die, you'll just be resurrected for another round on the show.

The headlining title of the month was of course MY LITTLE PONY: A Maretime Bay Adventure. The co-op experience is, however, a bit lacking with only minigames available for team consumption and the free-roam-world limited to only one player. Why can't I ride into the sunset with my little partner?! Always sad to see such a lackluster implementation especially in games targeted at kids. Definitely not for children, however, is Evil Dead: The Game which seems to have successfully hit all the fan-service buttons it needs to. The same goes for Sniper Elite 5 which, by all accounts, doesn't reinvent the wheel (although the new Invasion mode sounds cool) but is once again a very good experience - especially with a friend. All in all, May saw more than 60 releases across all platforms as far as our Database Master was able to find them. So take a look below not just at the AAA-stuff you may have missed but also the indie gems vying for your attention.

The biggest difference other than being totally wireless from the Kone XP is the number of buttons. While the Kone XP has almost 30 unique button presses, the Burst Pro Air has 8. The other difference is the weight - this mouse only weighs 81g.

Let's talk battery life first. You are going to get 40 hours of listen time on these which is double last years model. Let's put it this way - I've had these for two weeks and after the initial charge I still haven't seen the battery go below "medium." I'm gaming daily for at least a few hours a day - so Turtle Beach delivered.

But we're jumping ahead. This is after all the round-up for April not May - no matter how excited we are for the Return of Bruce Campbell - it's just not the time, yet. Instead, let's focus on a few of the highlights of last month: the long wait for the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga seems to have been worth it, resulting in one of the best LEGO games in years. The surprisingly successful Outbreak franchise, on the other hand, saw the release of its fifth title, Outbreak: Contagious Memories. If you're looking to scare your pants off, that's one new option to choose from. RPG-fans and Dungeon Masters, on the other hand ,were treated to both the release of Demeo: PC Edition (formerly a VR-only title) and a patch for Solasta: Crown of the Magister adding a very robust co-op mode to the game. Oh, and there was that remake of a house full of zombies you have to shoot. You may have heard of this very influential arcade title from 1997 and it's unironic name: The House of the Dead.

ROCCAT Kone XP Review

Out of the gate the Kone XP is loaded with 29 buttons of use. At first glance this seems like something you'd only find in an oversized mouse, but what ROCCAT has done is created a shift mechanism on the bottom of the thumb rest that allows you to apply a second set of functions against the existing 14 other buttons. So you can left click or shift left click to perform distinct actions. The placement of the thumb button is perfect and there's enough pressure from it that you won't accidently press it with everyday use.
