It's funny how playing games with people of different ages yields a different experience. If Xbox Live has taught us anything, it's that maturity doesn't necessarily come with age. There's still distinct differences in how the games are played. My recent outing with my nephew highlighted this.
]]>There comes a magical price point where just about any game is worth it to pick up. Despite a mediocre review from us, Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes might have just hit that price point with today's Amazon sale.

Blazing lightsabers, blasters of all shapes and sizes, holographic communications, and faster-than-light travel make the Star Wars universe far more technologically advanced than our own. A little bit of that high-tech magic is headed to an Xbox 360 or PS3 near you. Online co-op is being patched into Star Wars The Clone Wars Republic Heroes.

Can two-player co-op change the destiny of future Star Wars video games?
Last week we had a studio close it's doors due to layoffs, this week another developer of co-op games is losing some stuff. Krome Studios, developers of Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes, has cut 50 or so of its staff. The Australian based developer was forced to make cuts due to a high Aussie dollar, which made getting lucrative US based contracts difficult.

There are old timers like me, who are original trilogy purists, and look down a bit on the newer material, including the prequels. Then, there are the newer fans, who realize Star Wars is cool no matter what; come on, lightsabers, the Force, robots, spaceships, aliens, what's not to like? (Except Jar-Jar.) The latest Star Wars game, The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes, may tend to please the latter group, but even for us oldies, it looks like fun, with the inclusion of co-op.
]]> https://www.co-optimus.com/article/2515/star-wars-the-clone-wars-republic-heroes-demo-up-co-op-info.htmlDroids, Bounty Hunters, and Jedi - what more could you possibly want in a game? Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes has all these things and more in store for you, packed in one neatly stylized package. Many will agree that the best part of the prequel movies is the cartoon envisioning of the Clone Wars timeline, and Republic Heroes delivers all of the Clone Wars goodness and more - complete with co-op. Even the best Jedi never travel alone.

]]> https://www.co-optimus.com/article/2251/star-wars-the-clone-wars-republic-heroes-slightly-delayed.htmlStar Wars: The Clone Wars is becoming one of the most recognized Star Wars brands, with it's beautiful stylization that allows us to look past the poor CGI of the prequel films. Knowing this, we at Co-optimus are happy to see a Clone Wars style video game, featuring 8 playable Jedi, and 10 playable Clones with 2 player drop-in, drop-out co-op! Star Wars Clone Wars: Republic Heroes will have an original storyline, as well as some slick looking gameplay. To match the stylization of the visuals, the game will feature some new playing "styles" of it's own, making it one of the more unique Star Wars action games around.

We won't speculate quantum physics and time theory, but the gist of it is: this post is about a rumor.
