Starhawk, the "build and battle" third-person shooter, is about to become much more accessible. The space western will be available for digital download on the PSN tomorrow. There will even be three ways to buy the game: The full title can be purchased for $39.99, the multiplayer portion of the game is priced at $19.99, and PlayStation Plus Members will be able to download the single player campaign for free.

The game's space western vibe is in full effect as we're introduced to "blue gold," the rift energy that drives the fortunes of men like our protagonist, Emmett Graves. This game is really tickling my fun zone. The beta was a blast and the gameplay footage from this trailer looks amazing.

LightBox Interactive will be making the most out of their precious split screen real estate while trying to decrease the stretch of their aspect ratio. After playing the beta, I have to say that a full mini-map is a welcome sight. Anything would be better than the vaccuum of black space I've seen in other split screen layouts. I'm looking at you, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Fear 3, Lost Planet 2, and Resident Evil 5; the list goes on.

Starhawk Limited Edition Announced as Gamestop Exclusive with Co-Op Map, Warhawk 1

The "limited edition" of Starhawk has been announced, and rather than spend extra money on a giant box filled with art books, soundtracks, and statues - you'll be getting a whole bunch of digital pack ins for the same price as the normal version. The biggest piece of content included for co-op players is a map called Maw of Despair, which is a particularly challenging cooperative mission for four players.
