The latest, and most likely final, trailer does indeed showcase Marie's talents. She appears to be more lithe and acrobatic than her Templar counterparts, Roland and Celian.

Kalypso Media have announced that their two player co-op action game The First Templar has gone gold and will be released on May 10th for the Xbox 360 and PC. The game supports two player local and two player online co-op through the entire game. We went hands on with the game a few months back and you can find our preview right here.

Roland Showcased in New The First Templar Video

Kalypso's upcoming action game, the First Templar, is due out next month. We previewed the game back at the end of January, and thought it had a lot of great co-op potential. Now, for your viewing pleasure, we have a trailer showcasing one of the playable templar characters of the game - Roland. The video shows off a lot of combat play as well as some pretty brutal finishing moves (did he just stab someone down his spine?!).

Closed Beta Coming for The First Templar

Kalypso Media and Haemimont Games have announced a closed beta test for the upcoming two player co-op game, The First Templar. The beta test is for the Windows version of the game, an Xbox 360 version is also planned, both will be out in early 2011.

E3 2010 - The First Templar Hands Off Impressions

We got an early look at The First Templar at E3 2010 this year, the two player co-op game is a bit of a rarity. It's a mix of action with some light RPG elements that make it like a mix of Dante's Inferno and Assassin's Creed. The game is even semi-historically accurate.

The First Templar Announced

Kalypso Media has announced a brand new co-op action-adventure title called The First Templar for the PC and Xbox 360. The game is being developed by Haemimont Games, who recently developed Tropico 3. The First Templar follows the story of a French Templar and his companion, a noble lady who has been proclaimed a heretic. In single player, gamers can control either character on the fly - or a friend can drop-in and drop out both offline and online to assist along the way.
