Released today, the creatively named "Title Update 6" adds new story missions, classified assignments, and a new specialization to the game.  This time, the action is focused on the next story episode , "Pentagon: The Last Castle", with agents going on a couple of missions to wrest the titular government building from the hands of the Black Tusk.  On top of that, they'll be able to use the aforementioned specialization, the Technician, whose focus on technological expertise should provide some interesting options when tackling encounters.  Check out the graphic below for a little more detail.

The Public Test Server actually went live last week on the PC (and PC only), but Ubisoft slowly added more content and features to it over the course of that week, so now's a good time to get in and check everything out. The "Expeditions," in particular, sound pretty interesting. Here's how Ubisoft describes them:

The 8 player raid adds a new "pinnacle" activity to Ubisoft's loot shooter, giving all the dedicated Division 2 players something new to do, and more relaxed players a "someday, maybe" goal. The raid promises new and unique challenges for the players as the bosses have "the most exotic mechanics and technology you've ever faced." Similar to other games with raids, those bosses will offer unique gear to players that beat them, and there's also an exotic weapon to be won. It's worth noting that you'll have to bring in your own squad of 8 for this as, unlike much of the rest of the game, matchmaking isn't supported.

TD2 has already undergone two Closed Betas, both of which offered a limited amount of content, but this Open Beta will widen the scope quite a bit in order to allow both newcomers and past participants to experience a sizable portion of the game.  Specifically, the Open Beta will have three main missions, five optional side missions, and a Dark Zone, among other things.  Check out the graphic below for more details:
