Two Worlds II 'Pirates of the Flying Fortress' Expansion Appears, GOTY Edition on the Way

Two Worlds II is a rough-edged but robust RPG, filled to the brim with things to do in single-player as well as separate online co-op missions. In case that wasn’t enough, developer Reality Pump recently released a full expansion pack, titled ‘Pirates of the Flying Fortress.’ They also plan to release a Game of the Year Edition that will include both the main game and the expansion later this year.

Two Worlds 2 is out next week in North America and with it comes an 8 player online co-op campaign for you and your magic casting friends to enjoy. We've been following the game for quite some time and it's gone through an epic journey, almost as great as the one Sordahon has gone through. We had thought that journey came to an epic, 80's inspired ballad, conclusion - but we were wrong. Oh so very wrong. Blimey! Two Worlds II Delayed in the United Kingdom

Eight player co-op fantasy RPG Two Worlds II is already available in mainland Europe, but what was a small wait for the Brits (January 25th) has now become a slightly less small wait - February 4th. According to Eurogamer, one million copies have already been sold, and those copies all have English language tracks.

Normally, press releases are rather dry, but this one goes above and beyond in an attempt to get our attention. Here is how it begins:

Two Worlds 2's Sordahon has had one heck of a journey on his quest to become the number one bad guy in the game. With a January release for the 8 player co-op title right around the corner, it seems his journey is coming to a close. With such an epic road behind him, the conclusion to this quest can only be accomplished in one manor - with an 80s inspired musical number.

Two Worlds II Story Trailer Showcases an Epic Battle

Southpeak have released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Action/RPG, Two Worlds 2. The game will sport an 8 player co-op mode that sets up the story for the game's single player game, taking place just after the events of the first Two Worlds title. This trailer is actually set during that time period - so perhaps we're getting a glimpse at some of the action? Speaking of action, the trailer is full of it, and its easy to get a Lord of the Rings epic battle vibe from it. Instead of Aragorn though, we have Sordahon - not quite the same.

Two Worlds 2 Delayed till January

It looks like January is becoming the new November as another game is being delayed from its previous Fall release until early next Winter. We just received word from publisher Southpeak that Two Worlds 2 is being delayed until January 2011. We had our reservations about the title at E3 back in June, saying we thought it'd need a bit more than 4 months in the oven - and thankfully - it looks like we'll get our wish.

Sordahon's journey into the ridiculous continues, this time he's at the Southpeak Offices negotiating his list of demands in Two Worlds 2. I guess after constant abuse, job hunting and the need for psychiatric care Sordahon, Two Worlds 2 #2 villain, has had enough of the crap.
