To start with, players will choose a server. Want to keep it co-op? Then don't join a PvP server. If you prefer to avoid cooperation and coolness, you can play solo as well. Next, the player must customize a male or female vampire (the optional Castlevania DLC lets you dress as Alucard). Then the player will awaken in a crypt and set out into the world itself.

In V Rising, players will customize their own vampire and then proceed to build a base and grow in power. Defeating bosses will allow access to new resources, and players will even battle the most famous vampire, Dracula, when all is said and done.
