To that end the much awaiting "Hearth and Home" update to the game is now set for Q3 of this year and the planned four content updates for the year are TBD in terms of timing.

Our latest adventure have us tackling the game's second boss, the Elder. Once defeated it's onto the next biome - the swamp. Both videos are below with plenty of goofiness in between. There's even some bonus boat action towards the end where we discover...something. 

While we had high hopes for our stream in outfitting ourselves for survival, we quickly divulged into trying to wrestle in some wild board. And bees. Did I mention the bees? They really are very happy.

Building becomes of a focus of this stream and clearly everyone is an architect. But perhaps the best feature we discover is the ability to create signs in the game for important messages to your fellow co-op partners - like what the function of a door is. 

While the game has just hit, there's a lot to do here. The big hooks for Valheim outside the traditional survival tropes (chop trees, build/upgrade structures) are big. For one you are given a set goal of summoning mythical god like creatures and defeating them. Each of these have set goals you must achieve before you can cast this mythical spell. Second the game is extremely open with the ability to build small villages and even boats as you progress through the world.
