As such, the official word from Fat Shark goes on to say that: “Shopkeeper Lohner has used his fine-tuned fashion sense to order new goods to his store, and the Lohner's Emporium of Wonders has never carried this many on-fleek items. New (Old) Map Now Available For Warhammer: Vermintide 2

This time, developer Fatshark is taking its beloved heroes back to Castle Drachenfels, a source of both enjoyment and horror in the original Vermintide. In-game, the new mission takes place twenty years after the heroes first defeated the castle's Skaven inhabitants. The sentient rat-folk haven't completely given up, though, and have brought their Chaos and Beastmen allies with them for one final attempt to wrest back control of Drachenfels.

"Winds Of Magic" DLC Announced For Warhammer: Vermintide 2

With the upcoming expansion, "Winds of Magic", the developers will be introducing a bounty of new content ranging from magical level modifiers to the latest and greatest in bashable foes: the Beastmen. Specifically, the expansion will take players to Helmgart, where they'll face down against the Beastmen and their new elite unit, the massive Bestigor. As the title implies, the Winds of Magic will also play a prominent role in the form of Weaves, which will offer a near-endless amount of difficulty and potential to the endgame. Per the folks over at PC Gamer, Weaves combine portions of levels with unique modifiers and objectives to create puzzle-like combat situations for the community to work out.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Smashes Onto PlayStation 4 Today

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 features four-player co-op where players take on different roles as they try to survive and power through waves of nightmare-inducing monsters and bosses that are more than happy to stop you and your friend’s journey short. In our (PC) recap we said that the game was a step up from the original thanks to a less randomized loot feeling; “However, the randomness has been cut way down. What's more, that equipment now feeds into the other systems - the character "professions" and overall character progression - that allows each player to, eventually, make a "build" (e.g., stalwart tank vs melee DPS).” All of those thoughts can be found here.
