Dead Rising 2: Case West releases next week.  The epilogue to Dead Rising 2,  the story takes place after the events in Fortune City and finds Dead Rising protagonist, Frank West, teaming up with DR2 hero Chuck Greene. Here are some new pics to get your zombie-killing juices flowing.  Looks like you will be able to play dress up, again.  The new trailer is purely from Frank West's perspective, and even has a nice Die Hard reference.  If you remember correctly, Die Hard is a Christmas movie, so it's seasonally appropriate.  Dead Rising 2: Case West will feature 2 player online co-op, and will be available for download on December 27 for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Arcade.

Portal 2 will be hitting retail store shelves this spring.  On April 21, 2011, you and a friend can get together for some couch or online co-op action with the two bots from Aperture Science.  EA will be publishing the retail version while the Steam edition is due out the same day.  In a press release EA states:

The world of Hunted: The Demon's Forge doesn't seem like a nice place to vacation.  Not only are the hotels infested with the undead, travelers getting kidnapped for slavery - but the heat from the Demon Forge is melting all the ice cream.  

Dawn of War 2's latest "expansion pack" was announced quite some time ago, but we haven't been covering it all that much because until today - it was unconfirmed if the game would contain the same co-op campaigns as its predecessor.   So the good news is that yes, all of the races that have a single player campaign in Retribution will also be playable in two player co-op.  That includes the Tyranaids, Blood Ravens, Orks, Chaos Marines and Space Marines.  There is still yet an un announced race for the game.  

It would seem A Kingdom for Keflings has expanded in recent months to include an entire Kefling WORLD. They call it: A World Of Keflings. Shocking I know, but it encompasses the idea perfectly. It’s a world and it’s full of different Keflings. This world also has some pretty spiffy co-op to try out.

This Week in Co-Op, Mike and Nick head to the land of Azeroth where they play World of Warcraft and the latest expansion pack - Cataclysm.  This is Nick's foray in WoW, while Mike is a 6 year veteran. 

Another holiday is around the corner, and you know what that means.  Lots of food, friends, family, and of course a special event in Gears of War 2.  This time around, you can get your holiday cheer on during the '12 Days of Gearsmas", starting December 22 and running through January 2.  To begin, a 12x experience multiplier will allow you to earn those levels that much faster, and every day, the multiplier increases by one, topping off at 23x on January 2.  In addition, each day has a special modifier, such as "9 Boomers Booming" or "7 Sires a Storming".  We've got the full list of ho-ho-Horde friendly fun ready for your perusal, so grab an egg nog and relax.

It would appear Epic games is just waiting for the right moment to let fly some great news about an upcoming Kinect enabled Gears game, and other Gears of War 3 info. The most recent change of plans took the Gears team away from the Spike VGA's at the last minute. Cliff Bleszinski took a minute out of his busy Gears planning to explain just what the hold-up was.

Eat Them! is arriving just in time for the holidays.  The monster masher pays homage to games like Rampage and King of the Monsters with some co-operative city-destroying action.  A 'Monster Lab' allows players to build custom creatures with up to 5 million possible combinations.  New parts are awarded as you progress through the game.  Up to four players can team up locally to crush buildings, race around the city, or try to survive against the puny human defenses.
