Co-Op Classics: Wizard of Wor

Wizard of Wor's take on teamwork is not quite as robust as we'd like, but it was certainly a step in the right direction. The concept of teaming up with a friend, back to back, covering for each other, as wave after wave of enemies approach is certainly one that has held up through the decades.

Ghostbusters Multiplayer Patched 1.5 Years Too Late?

When Ghostbusters came out a year and a half ago it had a few disappointing flaws. First, it had no co-op campaign (which can't really be changed now), but it also had broken achievements in the multiplayer mode. Four of the achievements in the co-op "horde" mode would not unlock. Now that the game has filtered through all of the Microsoft red tape to get the patch, is that really enough to bring us back to the game?

Our Weekend in Gaming - Too Cold for the Old West Edition

It's surprising to see so many of the staff still playing Red Dead Redemption, but that seems to be a popular game these days despite coming out 9 months ago.  There's plenty of variety though with a few new releases on everyones radar including Dead Nation, Spelunker HD and even some Assassin's Creed.  As the temperatures drop for the Winter here in the US, and the game releases freeze, it's the perfect time to catch up on that backlog.

Dead Nation Is Dead Silent, Voice Patch Coming Soon

You know what tends to be fairly difficult? Playing co-op online without voice chat capabilities. Without a general Playstation chat capability, Dead Nation is having that very issue - for now. It sounds like the developer was having a bit of trouble getting things perfect for launch, so a sacrifice was made in order to deliver the amazing experience that we've found in Dead Nation.

Dynasty Warriors 7 Co-Op Confirmed, First Screens

Dynasty Warriors 7 has been announced for the for a Spring of 2011 release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 through most of the world, while the game is exclusive to the PS3 in Japan.  The title will mark the first time the game moves past  the Battle of Wuzhang Plains. The game will be adding a fourth faction, the Jin Kingdom.  So to answer your question, yes, it sounds like you'll be doing the Yellow Turban Rebellion...again.
