Live in Europe or Australia? Like awesome co-op games? Sparpweed's amazing co-op puzzle platformer ibb and obb is now available on PSN!
Released a week prior in North America, ibb and obb suffered a tiny delay for European territories (which, according to Sony, includes Australia). It's out now and all is well in the world, so stop panicking and get the game. Seriously, it's a winner.
We happened to review ibb and obb recently, and if pressed to summarize the experience in two words, those words would be "yes, please!". It's a great co-op game that suffers a little in single player mode, but otherwise it's a beautiful and challenging release you'll devour as quickly as you can. It's that good.
The basic premise of ibb and obb is to work through a series of gravity and physics puzzles while dealing with enemies and collecting shiny diamonds. The controls are confined to jumping and walking, allowing you to focus on the simple but ultra-tough puzzles ahead. Co-op mode supports two players locally and online, the latter of which includes the all-important voice chat you'll need to work out what to do with your companion.
The PC release of ibb and obb is still in the works, by the way. Sparpweed will focus their attention on that once the game hits all territories on PSN. And if the music tickles your fancy, the soundtrack by Kettel is currently available to buy or listen to streaming on Bandcamp in its entirety.
