IGN has a hands on preview of Ascaron's console version of Sacred 2, a game we reviewed on the PC last year. Set to be released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in March of this year, the game seems to be nearly identical to its PC version in terms of content. Playability-wise the transition to the controller is surprisingly smooth, with extensive use of radial menus and hot keys.
On the co-op front IGN took the game through the reigns of some two player local play. They found it worked well, though some of the menus seemed to get in the way since players are sharing a screen. Overall they seemed impressed with the transition to the console, and the addition of Xbox Live and PSN for drop-in and drop out support should be a godsend over the confusing interface on the PC.
We've posted some videos after the break as well as a few new screenshots of the PlayStation 3 version.
