Three Brand New Achievements Added to Sunset Overdrive

Just when you thought it was safe to be a casual.

You've done it.  You finally bested Sunset Overdrive.  Your significant other left you on account of how much of a 'tude you've gotten.  You got fired because you insisted on wearing a sleeveless denim jacket to the quarterly finance meeting.  You were kicked out of your apartment for blaring Blink-182's "First Date" for 3 hours straight, but none of that matters anymore.  You and the game are one now, and it's signified to all by your complete annihilation of every achievement the game has to offer.  Not even Todd from Accounting has done that.

Wait a second...no.  No, this can't be!  Just when you had broken free from the game's neon-infused tendrils, Insomniac Games has added three more achievements?!  Well, if you're gonna get the jump on Todd Chumpington, you better find out what's keeping you from your glorious 100% record, stat!  Check em out here:

  • Hardcore!: Buck National vs The Apocalypse: Beat the score of 600,000 on the Challenge "Buck's National vs The Apocalypse."
  • Hardcore!: Buck Strikes Back: Beat the score of 564,500 on the Challenge "Buck's Strikes Back."
  • Hardcore!: Buck Stops Here: Beat the score of 703,700 on the Challenge "Buck's Stops Here."

Alright, that does it.  You and your Yellowcard-obsessed buddies had better gear up if you're gonna hit the high score on these new challenges.

Maybe you're just rocking the proverbial faux-hawk right now, though.  You're interested in this new "Take No Prisoners" lifestyle, but aren't quite convinced it's for you.  How's about you grind on down to our review and see if it's up your alley?  If so, you and up to seven other friends can do a variety of missions in the game's Chaos Squad, which is really just an excuse for you to destroy Overcharge Zombies and talk about your favorite Green Day album.
