As we let you know last week, DLC is coming this spring for top-notch co-op title Left 4 Dead. A little bit more information is becoming available, especially in regards to the new and certainly intriguing "Survival" gameplay mode. Here's the latest details, taken straight from GameTrailers TV.
...up to four players set records for the longest time surviving hordes of zombies on over 12 maps...
Some of that sounds very familiar, eh? Records, time based goals, HORDE... yup, it sounds very much like Horde mode in Gears of War 2. Gears and Left 4 Dead are two things we defintely like to see together, possibly the best pairing since Ben and Jerry. Also confirmed are the new Versus mode maps being Dead Air and Death Toll, as we and half the internet speculated.
