PC gaming sales charts are typically conquered by two types of games. The first is the Sims. Anything with the Sims name typically sits on top of the charts. Sim expansions that add pets, vacations, gardening, or whatever even make their way to the top. Of course if Blizzard has a recent release that typically topples those little virtual people. Whether that's Diablo or World of Warcraft, Blizzard games always sell REALLY well.
So it's good to hear that Relic's latest co-op RTS/RPG Dawn of War 2 has toppled both Blizzard and The Sims this past week on the PC. The World of Warcraft expansion pack - Wrath of the Lich King has held that spot since November of last year.
If you've avoided this title for some reason or another - we highly recommend you give it a chance. The co-op gameplay is incredibly well done - and it's something we talked in depth about in the latest Co-Opticast. But if you don't want to listen to the sweet sounds of myself or Mike you can check back here tomorrow when we post our written review of the game!
