Ah, September is finally here. As marked by the release of the latest Madden iteration, game releases will soon start piling in, flooding our living rooms, and darkening our windows. This time around, I think we're mostly ready for The Releasening, but to make sure that's the case, we're either dipping back into franchises we know and love or finishing up lingering reviews.
While some of us have accepted our fates, others are staunchly resisting the inevitable flow of releases. Our community manager, Eric, will be arguing the point that newer isn't always better on the stream tonight and, regardless of the outcome, it seems pretty likely that orcs will die by the hundreds. I mean, they must, right?
Nick Puleo (@NickPuleo) - "Picked up Gears of War Ultimate for $10 on Xbox One, will enjoy some of that. Would also like to finish up LiveLock on PC."
Jason Love (@JLove55) - "Playing some Destiny in anticipation of Rise of Iron's release in a couple weeks, also eating some gods in God Eater 2: Rage Burst, and putting my platforming skills to the test in Talent Not Included."
Mike Katsufrakis (@Pheriannath) - "ALL COLLEGE FOOTBALL ALL THE TIME. And some WoW: Legion, I guess."
Marc Allie (@DjinniMan) - "I doubt I will have much time for gaming, maybe a bit of Hearthstone on the go, something like that."
Eric Murphy (@smurph_em) - "Baldy and I are going to show you why we like Orcs Must Die 2 more than the "new hotness" Orcs Must Die Unchained. We'll show you the "Are We There Yeti" DLC and maybe sample OMDU again for comparison. Join us at 8PM Central on our Twitch channel!"
John Bardinelli (@itsamejohn) - "Digging into Obduction, and hopefully getting a crazy modded co-op game of Torchlight II going!"
Locke Vincent (@LockeVincent) - "EAT ALL THE GODS ALL THE TIME. Working on the review for God Eater Burst 2."
Sam Tyler (@thereelsamtyler) - "I'm trying to whittle down my pile of shame so am plowing through Halo 5."
Tally Callahan - "Continuing a Valkyria Chronicles Remastered playthrough on New Game Plus."
Enoch Starnes (@enochstarnes) - "Not much video gaming for me this time around, but a Labor Day Tabletop Marathon is looking pretty tempting."
