Ladies and gentlemen, I have the pleasure of introducing the two latest additions to the Co-Opticrew: Perron Wiley and Brian Harrison! Naturally, in accordance with the 1986 edition of Gaming Journalism Customs And Bylaws, we'll be conducting a series of hazing rituals throughout their first week of employment. Get this: first, we have them "writing articles", and once that's done, they'll have to "play video games". Then, once they think they're finally out of the woods, they'll be "telling dumb jokes on Slack".
Pretty nuts, right? Let's see if they can handle it.
Anyway, as I've always said, you can tell a lot about a person by the things they do on the weekend. Let's see what we can gather from Brian and Perron's plans.
Nick Puleo (@NickPuleo) - "Will be checking out Everspace and playing more of the Battlefront Death Star DLC."
Jason Love (@JLove55) - "I'll be pulling myself away from the Rise of Iron expansion in Destiny for a bit to check out the latest and greatest Ace Attorney game."
Mike Katsufrakis (@Pheriannath) - "Destiny, Ace Attorney 6, and more WoW for me."
Eric Murphy (@smurph_em) - "Baldy and I will be continuing our expedition in Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light tonight. We'll be streaming, as usual, so come hang out with us on our Twitch channel at 8PMCentral. See you then!"
Locke Vincent (@LockeVincent) - "Necropolis, Rainbow 6: Siege, and a pumpkin spiced latte."
Tally Callahan - "Alienation, maybe a board game or two, and Guild Wars 2."
Enoch Starnes (@enochstarnes) - "I'll be exploring the streets and sewers of Lost City: Leviathan and potentially checking out Virginia before heading to a local music festival."
Perron Wiley - "I'm the new fish and glad to be here. For me it'll be Siege, Overcooked, Magnificent Seven and a whole lot of pop-warner football."
Brian Harrison - "Unfortunately, I will be working for most of the weekend. What little time I have will likely be spent trying to beat Dark Souls 2 with my Colorado friend."
If you'd like to join in on the hazing experience, feel free to leave a comment below "welcoming them to the staff" or "wishing them luck". Really lay it on thick, yeah?
