All wizard spells must be cast to the tune of "Abracadabra"

While the game has been out for some time on the PC and garnered quite a bit of praise and attention, it's only been over the course of the past day that Puuba's rhythm/RPG mash-up, The Metronomicon, has added local co-op functionality. What's more the enhanced version - The Metronomicon: Slay the Dance Floor - is now available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

If you're wondering just what a rhythm/RPG game even looks like, the answer is: very colorful, and hectic. Like any traditional RPG title, The Metronomicon features a cast of playable characters from which to choose as you form your party and go out into the world to battle foes, gather loot, and unlock new abilities. Once you get into combat, though, the rhythm game aspects take over and you'll have to tap along to the beat in order to beat enemies. It's a really unique look/take on RPGs, and the fact that two player local co-op is supported across all game modes makes it even more enticing.

The Metronomicon is available on PC via Steam for $19.99. The "Slay the Dance Floor" update is already packed into the title for free. The Metronomicon: Slay the Dance Floor edition of the game is available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for $19.99.
