If you’re like me, there are times when you take your Nintendo Switch with you and get ready to play, only to remember you packed your headphones in another place. This leads to digging into said place, finding the (likely tangled) headphones you want, and then untangling the cords before diving into your favorite game. However, SteelSeries is claiming to have solved this problem with the Arctis 1, the first fully wireless gaming headset for the Nintendo Switch that is now available on their website for $99.99.
While the Nintendo Switch is where I am in most dire need of a wireless gaming headset, the Arctis 1 also works with Android devices, PC, and PlayStation 4. The USB C transmitter can easily be plugged into any device that supports that connection, and there is an included USB to USB C converter for PlayStation 4 and PC users. SteelSeries’ website also shows the headset can be used with the Xbox One, but it must be plugged into the Xbox One controller, which nullifies the wirelessness of the product.
Does this help solve a problem that has plagued you since the Nintendo Switch’s release, or do you not mind carrying wired headphones when you game on the go? Let us know in the comments below!
