Biped Launched on Steam

You must be two feet to ride this ride.

NEXT Studios have launched a two player co-op platformer this week on Steam called Biped. The family friendly game is perfect for your quarantine couch or online co-op adventures while you ride out the COVID-19 wave.

You control the robot's two legs using two sticks or left and right mouse buttons. This allows you to perform various moves—from simple walking and sliding to more advanced actions, like operating machinery or cutting wood.

Despite the family friendly look and feel of the game, I can already hear the cursing at your co-op partner as you try to navigate puzzles like this. The game promises a variety of puzzles and environments including forests, mountains, jungles, and - thought it's not mentioned - a lava world. As you progress you'll collect various items to customize your biped.

Biped is out now on Steam for under $15 with a temporary 15% discount knocking a few bucks off the price. It features two player couch or online co-op. A PlayStation 4 version will arrive next month.
