Co-Op Monthly Round-Up for January 2022

Elden Ring. Elden Ring? Elden Ring!

For many the most important piece of news in January was the long-awaited announcement that Elden Ring has gone gold. It will hit store shelves on February 25 as planned (with a day one patch) and many will rejoice. There is of course a world beyond From Software games. Shocking, I know but it saw for example the Early Access release of The Anacrusis this month as well as the release of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction. Spelunky 2, on the other hand, finally hit Xbox consoles, while Deep Rock Galactic celebrated its PlayStation debut. PC gamers got the newly released Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem as well as the newest game from French strategy games developer Eugen Systems, called WARNO. Time for some good old comp-stomp action until the co-op campaign drops!

And how did our Database Manager spend his January? Well, we finally crossed the line of 10,000 entries in our database. It only took 14 years to get there! Yes, the site's birthday was in January and nobody sent us a cake :( . We did, however, get some help from a user on our Discord Server which allowed us to plug a few holes in our SNES and SEGA Genesis sections. In total, 213 new entries got added in January. Take a look below at what you might have missed.
